We havent overtake Lybia's GDP yet..and we all knew what happen to Lybia leader in uprising when he use foreign workers to reduce the labor cost instead of local workers like CN using Myanmar workers now
We also use Vietnamese workers and pay them better than Vietnamese factories. People are not stupid , they work for whoever pays them better.

Temporary they can not enter VN now due to strict covid control policy, but those jobless CN workers from "super powr nation CN" made too much trouble for VN few months ago

Why are nearly 1,500 Chinese people illegally entering Vietnam?
11:18, May 6, 2021

Lieutenant General To An Xo talked about the causes, methods and tricks of the Chinese people who illegally entered Vietnam.
Lieutenant General To An Xo, Chief of Office, spokesman of the Ministry of Public Security, said that in the past time, according to reports of local police (with 39/63 provinces reported), the whole country detected 199 cases of entry with illegal immigrants. 1,443 Chinese people illegally entered Vietnam. To date, the Ministry of Public Security has prosecuted 49 cases with 141 people.

"Illegal entry is a violation of Vietnam's sovereignty, carrying pathogens, posing a great risk of disease, affecting the jobs of Vietnamese people," said Lieutenant General To An Xo.

Currently, the Ministry of Public Security is reviewing and basing on reports to clarify methods and tricks of bringing people into the country illegally to prevent.

"You must know the openings to close them," emphasized the Ministry of Public Security spokesman.

According to Lieutenant General To An Xo, the subjects used many methods and tricks to enter the country "underground". Through the detected cases, it can be seen that the brokers are now contacting online to bring people to Vietnam, mainly people entering to find jobs.

"These vagrants are very dangerous,
" said Mr. Xo.

Unauthorized Chinese people were discovered in the Florence apartment building (Hanoi).
The Minister of Public Security has just issued an order to conduct a nationwide review and inspection to detect illegal entry of foreigners.

"For example, checking motels, hotels and accommodation to detect illegal entry. Strengthening border checkpoints, police must step up tracing, prosecute and prosecute resolutely. with illegal entry, brokers and senders, with illegal entry people who do not have COVID-19 will be brought back to the place of origin.

The motels that do not comply with the regulations may withdraw their operating licenses, be administratively sanctioned, and even be criminally handled," said Lieutenant General To An Xo.

According to a spokesman of the Ministry of Public Security, the number of people crossing the border is very high because the border is a long and long road, so it is very easy to cross the border, both the North and the Southwest border. Locking the border is very difficult

They are paid higher mainly bcs the living cost in CN is higher than VN, but I don't think those Vietnamese workers still can get higher payment when many CN factories only can operate 3 to 4 days per week due to energy crisis.

China does experience power shortage currently, mainly because China is the only country operates normall during the pandemic and many foreign orders used to go to other countries now all turn to China, cause sudden surge of demand for containers, cargo ships and electricity.

China's export increased 33.7%, trade surplus increased 28.9% by this August.

Usa is an economic superpower and has been since the late 1800s.

No doubt China is catching up at a fast rate but it will also face its own hurdles in a number of ways.

But one thing has to be said its the USA that made China become the factory of the World.

Wrong, it's China made China's economic development, US never gives China preferential treatment over other nations, China gets ther by fair competition, business people go after big bigger profits, they chose China, not US government.

The answer is simple: both are superpowers.
This is very true. But China is the new kid on the block and full of zest to rise higher and higher. It still is looking forward to the apex whereas USA reached the apex few deaces ago and is now begining to feel insecure about it's position at the top with emerging China.

China's export increase, but it only make rich Chinese become richer while good jobs are not increase and the poor still remain poor and jobless.

Millions Cnese become jobless after Evergrande collpase, plus factories fire CN employee to save cost when they only can operate 3 to 4 days per weeks .

CN's economy is just trying to survive to avoid chaos like Lybia, but don't know how long can CN's economy still survive when energy crisis will not over soon.

With two children and 17,000 yuan ($2,400) in loans from relatives to pay off, he recently got a bit of work doing apartment renovations in a nearby county, but his boss can't guarantee steady work. Heading back to Beijing isn't a great option, given the weak economy.

"It's no 100% guarantee you can easily get a job in the city," he said.

The data

Getting a precise read on China's jobs situation has always been hard. For years, Beijing relied mainly on people voluntarily disclosing their unemployment.

In 2018, the statistics bureau began releasing a national urban unemployment rate based on surveys in more than 600 cities. The bureau said the new data would bring China in line with international standards and help the government better manage the economy.

The data have important omissions, economists say. They don't include migrant workers who were once employed in cities but returned home for various reasons. It is assumed that most of the country's roughly 174 million migrant laborers who work away from home have farms they can fall back on if they lose their city jobs -- as many did this year -- and therefore don't need to be counted as unemployed.

Nor do the data include people in cities who are forced to work fewer hours than they'd like, or who have had pay cuts.

The official U.S. unemployment rate hit 14.7% in April, the highest level since data began in 1948. In May, employers added 2.5 million jobs -- the most in a single month since 1948 -- and the unemployment rate fell to 13.3%. U.S. data don't capture all of the people who are underemployed or who have given up looking for work.

But unlike China, the U.S. counts as unemployed some people not working any hours even while technically employed. The U.S. also has a wider array of monthly statistics than China does to reflect such people.

Chen Xingdong, a China economist at BNP Paribas, estimates that once everyone is factored in, as many as 132 million Chinese workers were at one point unemployed, temporarily displaced or furloughed this year -- or about 30% of China's urban workforce. He says it is fair to count displaced migrants as unemployed because farming isn't really viable for many of them once they have ventured out into cities.

Feng Weibing, a 51-year-old who has been struggling to find work on interior-decoration projects in Beijing, agrees. While he has land in rural Jiangsu province, he said, "There is no way we can make a living as farmers."

"The average cost for us in Jiangsu is around 100 yuan ($14) a day, but as a farmer, you can only earn about 60 yuan (9usd) a day,
" he said. He is sticking it out in Beijing, hoping conditions will improve.

LOl, if China has large unemployment, the government doesn't have to scrap the one child policy so soon, and who made the record high trade and products last year? China is the best country in controlling the pandemic, if lockdowns means unemployment, US nd EU 's unemployment can be over 90% last year.
Use your brain, China's record high trade and exports were made by people, not thin air.

LOl, if China has large unemployment, the government doesn't have to scrap the one child policy so soon,
Bcs CN companies only hire Chinese till 35 years old, specially in Internet companies like Tiktok, Tencent, Alibaba. After their kick old Cnese out, they need young CNese to do those jobs.

-------------
This trend is most evident in China’s emerging technology sector, where some Internet companies are introducing a “996” work culture from 9 am to 9 pm, 6 days a week. Most workers over the age of 35 are considered too old to handle such heavy workloads.

Thirty-six-year-old Tang Ying recently experienced insomnia and depression because she was at risk of losing her job as a receptionist for a small technology company in Guangzhou.

2020 is a nightmare year for Tang. Their marriage broke down and she also had tuberculosis. After she recovered, she returned to work and received more work than usual from the company. They did this because they wanted her to quit her job, Tang said.

Tang, however, holds on for fear that without a university degree it will be difficult for her to find a job anywhere else.

“I’m scared. I’m not sure enough to send my resume,” Tang said. “A lot of places only want to hire people under 35. I struggle with that thought a lot. I just think about sticking to my current job . “

an how much boss pay the workers ?? 300 to 500 usd per month ?? just same salaries in VN while living cost is much higher
So you changed from unemployment to not enough pay so quickly, haha, in Beijing , no one works for a job pays less than 1400 USD per month.

The average salary in China ranges from 7,410 Yuan per month (USD 1,145) to 1,31,000 Yuan (USD 20,245) per month — with 7,410 Yuan being the minimum salary and 1,31,100 Yuan being the maximum salar. https://biz30.timedoctor.com/average-salary-in-china/
First tier cities like Beijing and Shanghai make relatively higher salary than other cities.
