It was embarrassing for IDF for sure, but the attack was downright stupid for Hamas from the beginning. No matter how good prepared they were, they had no capability to supply or sustain the front line. They'd be sitting ducks after they spend their bullets. It is absolutely crazy how well coordinated this attack was by Hamas and how unprepared Israel was...
It depends on how ruthless the IDF will going to be. The less they care about civilian casualties of Palestinians the fewer loss they'd have. My guess is that they will level the city with very little concern for the civilians. For sure there will be a lot of blood but you are talking like Israel won't take any casualties at all and it will be a walk in the park for them. This whole situation has the potential to turn into something very very messy especially if Hezbollah gets involved too.
Israel will certainly take casualties. They already have. Nobody is claiming that Israeli soldiers are immune to being killed. He'll, they've already lost a brigade commander in Lt. Col Yonathan Steinberg... But if Israel fights like they're capable, rather than with one hand tied behind their back, they should beat the piss out of Hamas in fairly definitive fashion, especially with their ability to inflict hell from the skies. For sure there will be a lot of blood but you are talking like Israel won't take any casualties at all and it will be a walk in the park for them. except turkey in the region dont think anyone else specially of those arab nationalists would do such a thing..Maybe Egypt? Europeans took in millions of Ukrainian refugees when the Russians invaded. Maybe Egypt would would create a civilian corridor for Palestinian refugees that don't want to stick around to see how serious the Israelis are.
Islamic folks helping each other out in the region by providing some refuge seems like a pretty good plan!
In reality the IDF shouldn't be overly concerned about civilian casualties. I'm not suggesting they should go out of their way to inflict them, but if the civilian populous is going to allow military / militant infrastructure to be intertwined with civilian neighborhoods, and if the militants are hoping to use their own populous as human shields of sorts... You should oblige them when tactically neccessary. It was embarrassing for IDF for sure, but the attack was downright stupid for Hamas from the beginning. I guess that's the Arab world's problem then... You should be willing to help your neighbour, because you don't know when you'll need their help in turn.except turkey dont think anyone of those arab nationalists would do such a thing..
Exactly.I guess that's the Arab world's problem then...

Prepare to take more and not complain about it, or abandon them and accept the consequences of that decision. Seems pretty straight forward.Lebanon has approximately 2 millions and Jorden has more than 3 millions refugees already. (Both are small countries) It is better to fact-check before making conclusions.
Unfortunately, I can't have empathy for 8 billion people on this planet simultaneously. If you allign yourself with actors that would not accept you as a refugee in times of need... That seems like a "you" problem.thats true
but we already see what arab nationalists help is.. in best case they will put them in camps while they wont get any chance to live in that state except in the camp.. or smartasses will come up with imams and tell the man to go to jihad that is is obligation for them.. this was seen with saudi arabia and syrian refugees.. I would not bet on those arabs nor do the arabs themselves belive in this thats why they flee elsewhere
Prepare to take more and not complain about it.
Will US intervene to protect Palestine people?According to AlJazeera, Israel is compiling 35 Brigades worth of armor and mechanized soldiers at the border. They're going to call up 100,000 reservists. Expect a brutal ground attack in the coming days, after air strikes soften Hamas up considerably.
Israel-Palestine escalation updates: Gaza under bombardment
These are the updates for the escalation between Palestinian fighters and Israel military on Saturday, October 7, 2023.www.aljazeera.com
I certainly hope not. IMO, USA and their Western allies should stay disciplined and focused on destroying the Russian army at the cheapest price we're ever going to get, without having to out the lives of our citizens on the line to make it happen. Will US intervene to protect Palestine people?
I'm talking about the Jordainians and thr Labanese, not you.Why are you telling me this? I am thousands of miles away.
Nobody is spending any political capital whatsoever for Palestine in the last 50 years or so. So there's nothing new here. Off course unlike Ukraine these guys knows about waging war without complaining 24/7 that their neighbors aren't supplying them latest pzh2000Hamas appears to have kidnapped a child no older than 7, and other Palestinian children are beating him. Nobody is going to spend political capital to help Gaza after such footage. Frankly I have trouble seeing what is redeemable in such a society.
That's not how it works. If it was how it worked no western country would "spend political capital" to help Israel, because Israel does much worse on a daily basis.Hamas appears to have kidnapped a child no older than 7, and other Palestinian children are beating him. Nobody is going to spend political capital to help Gaza after such footage. Frankly I have trouble seeing what is redeemable in such a society.
