New brochure for Barbaros Coastal Defence System.

Single battery consists of a C2 vehicle, TEL(s) and loading vehicles. C2 vehicle can optionally fitted with a coastal search radar.

I'm pretty sure the graphic in the top right is supposed to be a BMC Tuğra 8x8 TEL. Hoping to see it soon so Roketsan can get rid of Kamaz trucks.

Roketsan Tayfun;
more than 280km range,
6.5m length,
2300kg weight,
better than10m CEP,
hypersonic cruise speed
Meanwhile Indonesian Army representatives call it KHAN 610, for ITBM 600 acquisition. Yeah, +280 on the brochure.

Correction: 610 is for the diameter, not the range. No worries on MTCR. :) I was the one who indicated the diameter years ago, now i was the one who missed it.

For 280+ km part; MTCR, not imposing but a pain in a... anyway

Everyone missed this but, 6.5 m also means baseline TAYFUN can fit into MİDLAS with some slight modificatiıons. Murat İkinci said before that TAYFUN will have a shipborne variant.

That would be a lovely surprise indeed!

not really a surprise, Barbaros already uses the same platform as TRG-122/230/300 MLRS currently in service with Azerbaijani Army, Azerbaijan would only have to purchase ATMACA missiles and additional radar systems.

More than likely Barbaros would be given to navy and would require a different battery and training. Not that clear cut, say compared to Kara Atmaca for land targets. Don't know how advantageous Kara Atmaca be for Azerbaijan's mountainous terrain, but I'm sure it's looked at as well.

Azerbaijanis main problem is an attack from sea, thats how Russia added Azerbaijan into USSR, when Azerbaijan was indeopendent in 1918. They organized a chaos in Karabagh, when main army was send there, Russians just landded by Caspian sea directly into Baku and captured it quick without any army.

We have long wanted to purchase the Bal coast guard complexes in Russia. They refused. And all those several countries that produce such missiles refused us. Only Israel agreed, but their missiles have a short range. About 15 years ago, Israeli media wrote that Baku ordered long-range missiles from them and even paid for their development. New Gabriel-5 missiles were purchased by Azerbaijan and Estonia.
There is little information about technical characteristics and generally about this in open sources. Be that as it may, since we have been building our Army according to the Turkish model for 4 years now, it is logical to completely switch to Turkish-made weapons - from small arms to KAAN.

Azerbaijan joining the industrial force for production of TEBER guidance kit. TBER is equally important for Azerbaijan now that their Su-25 LAÇINs and maybe JF-17s will use the munition.

Also, ROKETSAN's Azerbaijani subsidiary Azroksan has developed an extended range 122 mm unguided rocket which is probably meant for Grads with 20 km standard rockets.

Su-25s have been modernized by Turkish companies, and integrating Turkish munitions into the JF-17 is certainly feasible. There's no reason Pakistan would oppose it, as they would likely benefit from using Turkish munitions as well. The MiG-29 will be replaced by the Kaan in the 2030s. Congratulations to Azerbaijan, they’ve done a great job modernizing their air force.

Any reliable source that it's in service or sold? Exhibiting a product is hardly proof.
Especially when the product was until very recently still tested from trucks.

Edit: I see that its at the stand of the MoD. But in service? I dont believe it.
