here is what I think (MİT please spare me lol)

Totally not CENK, no fins, we all agree
MRBM? CENK is in that class, why develop something in the same range?
IRBM? Kinda suspicious of that because of the reasons above and ROKETSAN might have been working on multiple ballistic missiles simultenaously (I give up with the spelling tonight) as we have seen TAYFUN and CENK being introduced with only one year gap.
SLIRBM? The form makes me think.

Whatever it is, it is certainly a ballistic missile and not a space launch vehicle as it is launched off a launcher.
all i see is 90 degree lauch the exact same with İğneada incident :devilish: seems that there is a need to cover the least distance in the thickest part of the atmosphere...... guess the range is getting less and less relevant :devilish:

I definitely agree, there could be an obvious clue about the missile's apogee zone. Or from which platform it will be launched. I think most of the confusion is because we can't scale it.

Although, at this stage, the comments are just speculative, it is a missile that is kept very well classified, and since the leaking of its image to social media 'for some reason' is indirectly announcing its existence, I think we are all in the safe zone. :)

Officials have told many times that range is no more a challange but they are working on better accuracy and maneuverability to avoid air defense systems.

From Roketsan video upper stage of sounding rocket line diagram is shown. It is likely that the hypersonic re-entry vehicle of CENK is also similarly powered.

This is pretty big for a single signature. 350 million worth of PGM kits. Should be at least ten thousand.

"Agreements regarding the Guidance Kits procurement to meet the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces have been signed between ASELSAN and Presidency of The Republic of Türkiye Secretariat of Defence Industries total valuing USD 316.5 Million and TRY 1.2 Billion.
Deliveries will be made between the years 2025 and 2028."

Can someone put that in a context? How much PGMs we were using in a day in our operations in Syria? How much Israel is using in a day? How much it's used in Ukraine?

We don't have the data on usage. By and large these are pretty good numbers for day to day usage for few years, but not enough at all for war. Still, a singular order this large is pretty important.

At different times, an average Lgk and Hgk's cost was given as 25- 30 k dollars. So annual production of Aselsan should be somewhere between 3000 to 3500 kits

According to open sources in Afrin operation TuRAF used around 2 000 Guided bombs.

So far Israel used 80 000 tonnes of bombs. They mostly used mk 84 and mk 83 to a lesser extent.

They should have used approximately 100 000 mk series bombs and kits. But they had depleted most of their stocks in just 1 month and USA sold these munitions and kits.

Please note that this deal is just done with Aselsan. They are producing LGK, HGK, Gozde, KGK and Tolun. We have other kit producers like Roketsan, Kale and Asfat. And also SAGE as a smaller producer. They also have contracts with SSB for serial productions of Teber, KGK, Laçin, HGK, Gökçe and Gözde.

Turkey's kit production capacity is most probably far better than all countries except US, China and Russia (after almost 3 years of massive war in Ukraine) and its arsenal should be composed of a few tens of thousands kits.

In 2018 almost 2 500 kits had been procured by TSK from different Turkish companies: https://www.aksam.com.tr/ekonomi/mehmetcike-2485-adet-gudum-kiti-yolda/haber-698511 . This was the annual production rate in 2018 when Asfat was not in the serial production work and the others' capacity were lower then today.

Asfat delivered 1000 hgk 82s in almost one year and this deal was just for HGK 82. https://www.savunmasanayist.com/asfat-hgk-82-teslimati/

They also produce other HGKs (83 and 82)

How can i describe it? Leblebi gibi, single shorty with 10 fighters you can drop 40 bombs. It depends wich MK series you are using. With SDB it will double, if i remember correct they gived us discount after we first introduced our own JDAM. That was 19000 dollar, so 15000 PGM. It depends if they order HGK or LGK. Laser gudum kit is expensiver.

I think with our own HGK thats much cheaper maybe we are talking about 20000PGM. Believe me this is not much for a country like Turkiye.

Turkiye can easily produce more than 5000 guidance kits per year. Aselsan alone will deliver more than 3k kits per year according to the size of this contract. This makes Turkiye the second biggest producer in NATO after the US with a big margin ahead of the third. Probably all of the NATO countries combined(excluding the US) can't produce as much as we can.

What are the chances that kit production could also be outsourced to one of the contractors in the Turkish industry?

In Sahaexpo I was really impressed by private sector companies like Arca and Assan and I made a small search in internet about ammo producers flourished very recently in Turkiye. Huge potential! I have a feeling that some of them will take initiative in the production of guidance kits too within a few years

Their capacity for ammo is really impressive at global level and why they dont produce guidabce kits as well?
