The Minister in charge of the National Defense Administration confirms the start of Morocco in the manufacture of weapons, ammunition, and drones capable of carrying out reconnaissance and armed attack missions, as well as the local maintenance of military aircraft.

You should go for the KC-46 or A330-MRTT,the KC-135 series are to old.
We have 7 KC-135's,they all need to be replaced in the near future.
Makes full sense, I just mentioned kc-135 because it was on top of my head. Hopefully, we will see this procurement give our air force an additional capability.

6 Polisario militiamen were killed in the buffer zone by Moroccan army drones.

The names: ❌ Al-Taqi Al-Mughfari, Al-Bashir Sayyid Ahmed, Muhammad Dahmana, Alain Bilal, Ould Al-Samlali, Ammar Aliwa

Every week we here about the bombing of Polisario militants in the buffer zone, and we can expect that killed Polisario members are exceeding 100 deaths. A leaked video of Polisario also leaked a couple of months ago, where they admitted that they are not powerful anymore. They want more sophisticated air defense systems to protect their militants against air strikes.

Commando military commander Sheikh Ould Allal got neutralized today 10.12.2022. He has been active for Polisario even before the ceasefire in 1991. Like much other news, this news was confirmed by the Polisario themselves.

If we take unit price per launcher then its achievable. K239 chunmo cost around 2.5-3 million usd per launcher, and the american himar around 5 million usd. Yes bangladesh acquired 3 batteries for 60 million usd. 18 launchers X 3 million= 54 million usd. We could assume that the kaplan cost maximum 3 million usd per launcher, it could be cheaper to. We dont know how much ammunition that is included in the deal.

no, bro! you are mistaken, the total vehicle number is 15 and the launcher number is only six.
each battery has two launcher, two reloading, vehicle and one command center.
we brought around 300 hundred missiles if my source is correct.

however, the problem is, if you buy 100 MLRS at 300 million you get only onetime shot per launcher.

I read from sources outside Turkish media, as well as websites like defenceturk. They are stating that each battery has 6 launchers, so 6x3= 18 launchers. A good procurement for Bangladesh. I will follow you more on the Bangladesh thread, hopefully, we will see more deals coming through the next years :)

Unfortunately, this tool does not show the full map of the kingdom of Morocco. However, I made a drawing to show where we could have the coastal defense missiles that will be a threat to every moving target in the sea. 5 batteries are enough to protect our coasts.

Batteries would be in these cities:
- Tanger
- Oujda/Nador
- Marrakech-safi
- Layounee
- Dakhla

Every moving target in the alboran sea in the north will be under threat from our anti-ship missiles. The same applies to our systems in Layounee, and Dakhla which will be effective against the islands close to gran Canaria. Spain currently has 2 fighter squadrons and naval bases.

We are excited to work with the U.S. Navy divers again,” said LT Toaufik Essaadi, Royal Moroccan Navy. “Our goal is to increase our diving capability in all aspects of military diving.”

Just a quick remark:
4bln € in 1990 adjusted for inflation is around 7bln € today.
and also, f16 block 70 cost more than twice of older blocks
