If the KSA-Pakistan-Turkiye tripartite defense mechanism is strongly institutionalized, it is highly likely that we will have a permanent naval task force and perhaps even a command in the North-West Indian Ocean seas extending from the Horn of Africa to the Oman Sea. I say this without including many secondary activities such as Somalia or Qatar etc. When you include all of them, this requirement gains an even stronger grounds.
Although I dont know what precautions are being taken to avoid personnel bottlenecks, the navy definitely signals that it is preparing for expansion. At least, this impression is formed when we follow the industrial footprints of infrastructure preparation. In my view, naval platform transformation is not limited to integrating high-endurance high-seakeeping assets like destroyers. The entire naval architecture is shifting, beginning with the littoral and territorial defense layers. The Hisar-class OPVs and the Multi-Purpose Attack Craft -the latter pushing corvette-scale dimensions- epitomize this doctrine. While tailored for regional endurance, their high situational awareness and integration into the shared tactical picture allow them to absorb the operational workload of larger frigates within territorial waters and the EEZ.
Im not saying we dont need more ships but we need to balance it with other security needs not to mention with our expanding surface fleet we need a larger logistics fleet of tanker and other ships.
by 2035 we will have like
12 Frigates
1(4) destroyers
12-14 Corvettes/Opvs
14-19 FAC
1 LHD
1 AC
and that is just a part the only thing i would add wer 4-6 heavy frigates but other than that its enough.
In twitter, defense enthusiasts focus more on the main combatants, but we will try something in territorial waters too!
4 Ada-class ASW corvettes
10 Hisar OPVs with fast arming infrastructure
10 MPAC and 6/9 Kılıç-class fast attack craft
16 Tuzla class boats
In addition to the 6 Aydın MCMVs, a certain number of 2400-ton YMAGs will be built, which can take some secondary duties with their very powerful systems and robotic capabilities.
6 P-72 and 6 P-235 maritime patrol aircrafts
A large number of unmanned aerial vehicles and an inventory of USVs that will probably reach even higher numbers with many types.
