When you interpret the issue in such a biased way, you end up making irrelevant comments like this.
First, carefully read what Erdoğan objected to.
Then, look at the phrase in the image I posted: "The European Charter of Local Self-Government will be fully implemented." Understand that this is actually Erdoğan's objection, "we will not leave the PKK's espionage activities in municipalities unchecked," and Özgür Özel is saying that if they come to power, they will fully support the PKK.
However, Özgür Özel didn't stop there when he said they would take them under the protection of the state.
- The legal protections of elected mayors will be strengthened.
- The removal of elected local administrators from office without a final court decision will not be allowed.
- The practice of appointing trustees will be ended.
- Municipal councils and city councils will be strengthened.
- Participatory budgeting, citizen juries, neighborhood councils, and local advisory mechanisms will be widespread.
Before the trench operations began, the HDP, with its mayors and provincial and district organizations, had ensured the PKK's neighborhood-by-neighborhood organization.
Özgür Özel openly states that they will provide legal protection to HDP mayors to facilitate the PKK's establishment of a Kurdistan in the East. Furthermore, he declares that they will enable the HDP to organize with the PKK on the ground, neighborhood by neighborhood.
Despite this, you still support the Ekrem İmamoğlu-Özgür Özel faction. These people have openly included their plans to divide this nation in their party program.
