In my opinion, a serial hybrid power package should also be prepared for Altay. In this method, I think we should use the 1500 HP Batu engine as a generator. Thus, the batteries in the series hybrid power pack become the smallest they can be.

FNSS has developed a tracked armored vehicle using a serial hybrid power package. In addition, a goodwill agreement was signed between BMC Power and FNSS on the development of a serial hybrid power package.

Apparently they are also developing more powerful versionsof Azra and Utku. View attachment 59694

Sefine Shipyard will cooperate with BMC Power for the marine version of the engine of the Altay tank.

Then there will be a marinization study about BATU?

Yes, we will also test BATU in a diveable environment. We will carry this journey forward. We will both push the capabilities of BMC and relate our own needs to it, and from 2024 we will no longer buy engines from abroad. We are preparing to avoid the embargo. We set out on this road at SAHA Expo in October 2022. We are very happy where we are now. Prototypes will be ready to be integrated into the naval platform. As soon as the tests on land are finished, it will begin its work at sea from September. Around December, we will actually start measuring tests at sea. There are tests done on land but no tests at sea yet. It was designed, the engine was made suitable for use on naval platforms.

Mr Akşit: "Now we have produced 3rd generation SCB material in Turkiye. We tested single crystal material we developed and single-crystal material we imported/currently used common in aircrafts. We have seen that our material performs 20% to 30% better at operating temperature"

Mr Akşit: "Tf10000 will be a test-bed engine where we will test our special technologies (For TFX engine). In order to keep critical technologies confidental, we use incomplete/inaccurate designs in the mock-up we exhibit at the fairs. If they make the same model, that engine will not work"
