Kale has zero problems with production capacity. Kale can easily deliver 3-5 times the current amount and can deliver 1000 engines per year with a small expansion. The real limiting factor is how many missiles we are planning to produce per year and how much budget we have.

Mr. AkÅŸit:
"We made a more powerful engine than the engine in the ATAK helicopter. It reached 1400 horsepower. It passed the tests. We are testing the more powerful ones. Our nation will hear them soon"

I wonder if one of them is the ts-3000 considering they have been working on it for a while.

Likely, what I would like to see is TS-1400 be converted into a turboprop engine.

French did it with their Ardiden 3

TEI General Manager and Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Mahmut Faruk Aksit:
- Some European companies are hooking our employees on the spot to disband the team!
- They offer abnormal wages, wages that are not available in world markets!

Did they specify whether such workers actually left TEI to work in such companies or not?
Hope such engineers are patriotic enough to continue investing in Turkey since such EU companies are doing so to prevent Turkey from obtaining a strong defemce industry

Does he mean that the new powerful engine produces 1400 hp or surpasses that level since tei ts-1400 is producing around the range of 1400 hp already

Well, Even if foreign countries offer better salaries that won’t be enough to leave unless the work culture is bad. So I am with @Anmdt on this.

I think offer them houses maybe like 4 apartments with land if they stay 20 years would be good we should be creative..

Also free coffee, soft drinks, food, 39 hours work.. 40 days free off time..
Paying for further education.. Are good to keep them

Top people should have top conditions

Don’t forget salary in any currency they wish. Euro, USD and such.

TBH the housing is not attractive. Not with how it’s done in Turkey. Unless they’re built and supervised and QC by Japanese. That’s how bad construction is in Turkey.
But I’ve always wondered if they have statistics on how many researcher are leaving compared to those who are coning back.

Well if you cant pay as much, you can always give stock options to your employees as part of their pay package. That way they will profit from the products they develop and the success of the company they work for. But TAI is not a public traded company.

:D he is saying it like TEI is a huge superpower engine manufacturer. Yeah blame it on foreign powers. What about making better workplaces for your staff? What about stopping mobbings, political discrimination ?
the world class salary of this type of engineer is at least $10,000. + social rights and security facilities. if tai's average salary is $3,000, I'd say very good.

This is the news he gave us all. But there is more important information lying there between the lines.
Current Atak-T129 CT-800 engine develops 1298HP continuous power. Our TS-1400 engine has a continuous power output of 1400HP.
CT-800 develops 1375HP at take off. But TS-1400 develops 1475HP at take off.
So the engine in hand has a lot more brawn and raw power available than the current engine.
He says they are trying for even attaining more from this engine and we will be notified in due course.

"We will build the MMU engine in 10-12 years, but it will be a little bigger in diameter, that's what was discussed." said Prof. AkÅŸit. He also said that the TFX body was designed before the engine, which is a flawed approach.

I think that they have turned to RR origin engine because both the development time of the TEI engine is longer and the engine diameter is larger than expected.

I think they are taking a huge risk. It seems that they have not learned a lesson from the Altay disgrace...

to be fair, German engine embargo is the reason for the state of Altay.
