This proves TheInsider?Question: Doea the TEI-Tf6000 have aingle crystal blade technology?
Mr Akşit: Yes! They must be made of heat resistant single crystals to operate at higher temperatures
Mr. Akşit stated that they want to make a fully working engine with completed tests and ready to be used by aircraft by 2026.Is there any expected delivery date for TF-6000? Any public schedule?
I guess it totally depends on how well the development process goes. If they pass the developments stages smoothly without setbacks then I believe it can be ready for deployment earlier than planned.iirc Mr. Akşit stated that they want to make a fully working engine with completed tests and ready to be used by aircraft by 2026.
So the pretty complete engine (with all tests done etc.) is aimed for 2026
This will be the first Turkish engine in history that will take people in air .Mr Akşit: "TS1400 engine which we will deliver (February 2023) ready for first manned flight, is the 8th design cycle."
