No one has the slightest idea of the work being done in the background, nor are we in a position to judge the knowledge that Temel Kotil has about ongoing projects. Everyone is commenting on their own assumptions in those matters so no opinion matters other than the words from authorized mouths. These issues are not issues that are open to the public so we will wait and see the accuracy of the roadway given by the authorities when the time comes.
First flight by 2026 means that we should already have started building the first prototype. Are we building it? No. Are we close to building it? I don't think so. Mr. Kotil, I'm sure of it, is under a lot of pressure from certain authorities and has to utter dates that are guided by aspirations and not so much by the core engineering constraints. If I hear these timelines from Mahmut Akşit then I would take those more close to reality.

If we were so far along in the development of the engine, I don't think we would be so hell-bent on bringing RR to the table. Hell- I'm not even sure if the project will ever see the light of the day if TAEC wins the tender.

My estimations for the programme are that we see the first run of the engine by 2026-2027, first flight by the end of the decade and commissioning by 2032-2034. This is a more realistic and somewhat achievable timeline. Expecting closer dates will only bring disappointments, imo.

You don't believe that do you? Take Temel Kotil's words about timelines with a pinch of salt. He is not very technical. Mahmut Akşit has more credibility in that regard. It would be a great achievement if we saw TF6000 flying by 2026. Flying a non-existent TF35000 by that time? It's impossible, out of question unless RR is somehow involved.
Do you remember all of the ''Impossible'' statements about our defence industry?
Make a notice of this somewhere so we can look it up when the time comes.

TRMOTORS CEO Osman Durmuş has said this in 2020,

It was an ambitious timeline even for that time. But I think it can be done. But the idea of first flight by 2026 doesn't fly with me(no pun intended). I wish I'd be proven wrong.

No one said that national engine is going to fly in 2026 iirc, even Temel Kotil said it would be around 2028

Damm! it will have 30kw power peak then! ( Assuming 1000 T/R modules ) 50 percent greater than the APG77 of f22! which up to this day the most powerful airborne aesa fire control radar. With a good integrated EW system they can do some crazy jamming with MURAD! Kudos to aselsan!
I am kind confused, how can this be possible, maybe 30kW is the thermal power?

I doubt they can make a engine in 6 years they literally have zero to no jet engine experience.

This is just delusional and playing for the crowd of uneducated people.

We need kale and RR

Color screen and digital night vision technologies will be used for the first time in the system, which was developed as binocular (two optical channels) and viewfinder reflective. In this way, color-specific groupings (friend, foe, etc.) can be made in the symbology information.

A hybrid (optical-inertial) system is designed as a head tracking system. The inner helmet will be specially produced for the pilot in terms of both comfort of use and proper viewing. For this, the head structure of the pilot will be scanned and the inner helmet will be processed according to the data generated after the scan. The visor will also be personalized according to the pilot in terms of oxygen mask and face form compatibility.

Headphones will have active noise suppression (ANR-Active Noise Reduction) technology, and the pilot's awareness will be increased by transferring the 3D sound from the aircraft's internal speech system in stereo. The image obtained by using high-precision line of sight information from the 360-degree image created by the electro-optical systems on the aircraft will be projected onto the viewfinder and will provide a sense of use as if the aircraft does not have a fuselage.

Mr Bozdoğan: "When TFX MMU is included in the system, it will both provide a great gain to the Turkish defense industry and provide an incredible capability to the strength of the TAF. With Atak 2 and T-629 attack helicopters coming into play in the same way, they will gain great power to the TAF with their integration into the system"

Highly recommended watch: "Can MMU {TF-X} be hacked? What are the precautions against cyber attack?" in Turkish. With very cool hologram of TF-X.
