Most of us Turks believe in one god and that god is the god of everything. A god of skies alone is out of question for us. And claiming that there is another god is the biggest sin for us. So no thanks.

Tengri is not only the sky but everything above it too, we could say he is the personification of the universe.

As a Turk, it works just fine for me. However I think another, more aggressive name, would work better.

When choosing names please note that some name designations are already being used by some other nations so we need to differentiate from them. Like Şahin is for the F16 Fighting Falcon and we call them Şahin too.

Tengri would lend itself better to the larger command and control system based in space for say Turkish space force.

Something centralised, extremely powerful and one of a kind. Like a very large space battlecruiser.

This era, fighters etc would better reflect birds of prey or similar concepts that have "many" (though are individually capable too).

When we reach the space force era more broadly, I do hope we all use naval ranks and uniforms up there too heh.

Not to burst the enthusiasm here but I'm gonna be honest it will most likely be TF-23 Kartal, I don't expect anything "creative", don't forget it has to be something that they can easily market for export .

23= 1923 (founding of the Republic) & 2023(year of first flight)
Kartal= Eagle (its gonna be a bird 100%)

Please give up this TF nonsense; do the French, the British or Germans call their fighters FF, BF or GF? Calling it TF is derivative and lame as hell and stems from a lack of self-esteem. You call it S1 (Savaşçı No.1) for your first fighter, then you can add any moniker you want at the tailend; but please no Anatolian Eagle, you can't have a moniker that takes three days to pronounce.
