The twin-engine Anka-3 variant was on the roadmap no surprisesBefore forgetting, there is talk of twin-engine configuration for Anka-3. It is expected that 2 more Anka-3s will be completed by the end of the year. (2nd minute in the video)
Anka was already a name given to the program. Why would they give it a name again?I wonder when they plan to give the Anka-3 a name, will it remain as 3? It looks like an ordinary product, doesn't anyone think of it?
I hope they don't put a new name. Our naming will be similar to brand names, I think that's obvious. Such as Anka 1-2-3, Hürkuş 1-2-3, Gökbey 1-2-3, Atak 1-2-3 etc.I wonder when they plan to give the Anka-3 a name, will it remain as 3? It looks like an ordinary product, doesn't anyone think of it?

If this logic is correct, the name of the 10 Ton class utility helicopter should be "Gökbey-2".
I wish we coded Anka-3 as THK-13-NG (Next generation) and also Hurjet coded as THK-16-NG . So at least people again remember making jet, plane , not only belongs to today also our past. For me this planes comes from our ancestors dreams.I hope they don't put a new name. Our naming will be similar to brand names, I think that's obvious. Is there such a UAV as Anka-2?I hope they don't put a new name. Our naming will be similar to brand names, I think that's obvious. Such as Anka 1-2-3, Hürkuş 1-2-3, Gökbey 1-2-3, Atak 1-2-3 etc.

Anka 3 is the development project name, not a product name. Tusas is obviously free to choose Anka-3 as the product name, but their history indicates that they will select another name for the final production-ready drone. Why is Baykar going with Tb2-Tb3, Akıncı and Kızılelma?
Anka-3 is a different platform, it may use the same infrastructure as Anka, but this is a flying wing UAV.
It seems to simplify and trivialize a beautiful, difficult job.
Probably they follow same strategy Türk Hava Kurumu (THK) strategy they also named project plane THK-xxx after that named it. For example THK-16 project plane named after as THK-16 Mehmetçik. May be someone following it as a tradition. Just my speculation. If following UAV Named as Anka-4 , it is not a suprise. My personal criticism we need serious naming strategy . Honestly sometimes I mixed products. I have to check pages. Especially a2a missile part.Anka 3 is the development project name, not a product name. The development projects were already called Mius.Anka 3 is the development project name, not a product name. Tusas is obviously free to choose Anka-3 as the product name, but their history indicates that they will select another name for the final production-ready drone.

"Providing information about ANKA-3's internal and external weapon stations, Sütcü said, "We have 7 stations in total on the plane. Under the fuselage we have the main large internal weapon bay. Again, we have two additional stations that we can call the inside of the fuselage integrated into the wings. We have a total of 4 stations as external stations."
"Finally, Fatma Sütcü gave information about when ANKA-3 will enter the inventory, “You know, in defense industry projects recently we have been trying to put them in the inventory since the first production . After making the first test of this prototype, we plan to enter the inventory and mature in the inventory."
Even then they will portray the Turks as a race from the dark ages; however, you must know that such a decision isnt based on facts but on a massive inferiority complex that lasted for hundreds of decadesAlso, as a side note, I love the fact that a young woman is responsible for one of the most important projects in Turkish aviation history. It is a special kind of fuck you to Western propagandists that love painting us as a nation from Dark Ages.
With the twin-engine TF-10000, the Anka-3 will definitely have a larger internal weapon slot. I think the wing area will grow even more."Radar and air-to-air ammunition will be integrated. As you know, we will also be integrating the radar system that our local company is working on. Afterwards, we will also be able to use air-to-air ammunition."
I think the twin-engine version will have this capability.
Thinking about ANKA-3 with two TF10k, AESA radar and GÖKHAN missile, we definitely need to navalize it and start building a proper AC ASAP.
