Nothing would be better for Ukraine than if Russia was at war with itself and had to divert troops, armor, ammunition and overall attention to trying to quell a coup or an internal conflict. Furthermore, this serves as a great opportunity for further Russian freedom legion troops to cause havoc in the Belgorod region, stretching Russia's resource even thinner.

Meanwhile, the West ought to ratchet up their immediate support for Ukraine. A huge opportunity for them to make meaningful progress in the south and around Bakhmut, could be presenting itself.
