This prototype is for ground testing, right? If so, what's the difference between a flight-worthy and ground-testing prototype? Like, will it have the computers, radars and maybe the engines?

Ground testing one also could be used for flight tests, if we mean by ground testing the taxi tests etc. not structural test one.
However, due expediting flight test campaign many aircrafts are used at the same time. And later produced one is a bit new and hence some issues, which are seen while testing the previous one, solved . It is better to use in the first test the better one in terms of production . It is same for every type of new product. First you assemble first one and see the issues with it interns of assembling, interns of first tests etc. Then you use new one in the full test chamber.

When I first wrote on this forum that lot of technology are harder to achieve and not everything will come out of thin air , some fanboys got hurt ,but now everyone can see , hurjet is in assembly and they released picture ,unlike someone said that they will showcase the prototype directly .

Also some thought that they can do it in low funding ,but 1billion isn't low by any means for fighter trainer . That's normal like any other project .

Also timelines have matured ,fully composite wings are being developed now for tfx , that means hurjet don't have fully composite wings .

Things are going in forward direction ,but speed is normal , no miracle is happening as expected .

Good to see some members understand this

Was this assembly done recently? If so, then we can say goodbye to see hurjet in the early 2022😭
Yesterday, Mr Kotil stated that Hurjet will be flying in March 2023.
He also stated that for the TFX they need to do 2 years of ground tests with engines and avionics fitted.
That means, for Hurjet, the plane must be ready or will be ready within a few months. If it is ready for ground tests by early 2022, it will give just over a year to do the ground tests. As it is a simpler plane overall, ground tests may not need the two year testing period needed as in the case of TFX.
What bothers me are the engines. I would have liked someone to ask him if the f404 engines are in their possession.

why?? other sections production are also done most probably separately, they will combine wings, front back sections and later integrate engines in another platform. this is called jig where sections combines.

According to media news, As well as various f404 variants being used in the development stage, Mk-2 version due to be introduced in 2026 is going to have f414 engine.
Yes it needs a lot of redesigning. We all know that!
Mk2 is a different plane. With canards. Though it will have influences from Tejas.

Tei is developing an engine for Hürjet. Detail part production is started in last quarter of this year. Assembly will begin in 2022 July. First flight of PT1 will be in 2023 March-April, PT2 will follow on September 2023. PT2 will have weapons carrying capability. These are what I learned there.
No way

Edit: Your post is a bit ambiguous. Are you talking about the engine or the aircraft?

Just tell things in details. Tei engine and pt1?? I think it would be better to separate hurjet end it's engine . People understand that engine will fly in 2023!!

Assembly will begin in 2022? It's already started. We have the first pics. And @TheInsider said the first prototype will be finished by the end of the first quarter of next year.

Different assembly date may be for limited series production (first batches etc) after the current prototype (or TD) assembly pics.

They just assembled some parts of nose section for now. It can't be considered as "complete assembly".
