BIG SURPRISE

TF-6000 Design is completed. The project progressed to the prototype manufacturing phase.
6000lbs dry thrust 10000lbs with afterburner.

Realistically, how many years before we see it powering MIUS and TAIs stealth drone?

Also, kinda a rookie question, is lbs and lbf interchangeable? AI-222-25 has a thrust of 5500lbf, will TF-6000 be more powerful than the AI-222-25?

Lastly, any info on thrust to weight ratio?

TF6000 can be used in single and twin configurations which will allow for a multitude of possible platforms including marine platforms with its derivatives. Other than single and twin or possibly triplet configurations which civilian planes support there is also possibilities that the same engine can have different power yields with modifications to achieve different optimization goals like fuel economy, extreme power or a balanced power and economy varieties.

Well done. However, I think it needs 4-5 more years for serial production. Eliminate Ukraine. We need a new producer for KIZILELMA. Do you have a candidate?

It will be a test for TEI to pull this TF6000 off nicely to be trusted with more work for the Özgün engine of TFX.

After that, I think TEI will reveal the TS-3000 turboshaft engines as well.

Besides, TEI will reach higher thrust ratios by modifying TF6000's core. With these developments, Turkey will also have a powerful marine engine and turboprop family.

I am glad TEI has finally started development of a marine engine now. BMC Power is also working on the diesel marine section. in 2030s we will have completely indigenous propulsion systems.

TF6000 is likely to be the engine that will take Kızılelma to supersonic speeds with its afterburner capabilities.

This could also power a twin engine Hürjet.

If they could squeeze out more thrust, extra 500lbf dry and 1,000lbf wet per engine then it would be a comparable replacement to a single F404, that is if TF6000 will weigh less than 700kg each

Can we make a commercial airliner engine from this in the future?

The soviet Yak-40 used three AI-25 (each 3300 lbf thrust). I guess two TF-6000 could power a commercial aircraft 50% larger i.e. 50-55 passengers (assuming lighter materials).

E.g. something like the CRJ200 should be possible

There is no lbs. It is lbf (pound force is the unit for thrust). To shorten it some may use pounds thrust in plural. Hence lbs. But not correct nomenclature.
6000lbf dry thrust and 10000lbf with afterburners is probably a bit more powerful than the AI-225-25 which is a near 6000lbf dry thrust and 9200 with afterburner thrust class engine.
If we had designed the Hurjet as a twin engined plane it would have more thrust with two of these.
Now we can seriously and confidently say TEI could produce a indigenous engine for TFX.
