tandem or not
This tweet is utterly confusing
I know, that is why I think it is critical that we look it into because they could cripple our serial production in the future with 1 sanction if they ever feel like. There is a reason why basically only 3 makers of ejection seats exists which are M-B, Russia and China. Needs hundreds of tests to ensure secure ejection every single time.
Why is diffucult to produce or there are many companies that build them and even if USA ban it we can buy from others ?I remember hearing it was cancelled as it was not feasible short term
Martin Baker is British. Why is diffucult to produce or there are many companies that build them and even if USA ban it we can buy from others ?
Is this good or bad?
Both have their advantages/disadvantages.
Military Aircraft Emergency Escape & Ejection | PacSci EMC
Canopy or transparency removal systems are recommended in military aircraft ejections to prevent elevated levels of head and neck load on the aircrew and potential injuries, with methods including canopy jettison and canopy fracturing using materials like acrylic, polycarbonate, or laminate...psemc.com
You've forgot Raytheon who makes ACES II.There is a reason why basically only 3 makers of ejection seats exists which are M-B, Russia and China. Needs hundreds of tests to ensure secure ejection every single time.
The IWB configuration of the TF-X has indeed changed. But I can't directly specify what it will resemble. You're free to speculate though.
Haven't heard the latest on those, sorry.Any progress about MMUs weapon bay drop systems? Indians showed their Inner bay systems last year any luck about ours?

I am slightly disappointed from these pics, I was hoping they would be showing 3d printing PEEK by Now. A couple years ago, Company started in MIT (iirc), showed working with thermoplastics specifically PEEK in FDM 3D printing was commercially viable. They were selling their 3d printed parts to NASA and This material is already used in aviation. For Turkey's case, 3D printing made it perfect match for our low rate productions in military/aerospace industry. Our companies needs to use this material, It would improve trust to weight ratio in our aviation industry in meaningful way.TAI's additive manufacturing facility

-Potentially the largest piece ever produced using this specific technology. This is a thermoplastic polymer that is resistant to high temperatures and high loads. This mold was used in order to produce a composite component of the Gökbey's fuselage. Using orthodox methods, a mold such as this might take 3-4 months to produce. TAI produced it in 3 weeks.
