Azerbaijans main contribution will be financial. I'm sure there will be some ToT and maybe part production in the future but in the beginning it will most likely just stay at financial support. All of this is not surpising though. With Azerbaijan unwinding itself from Russia its options have been limited to refresh its Air Force. I always expected them to be the first customer for Kaan with Turkish engines I'm sure they will also show interest in Hürjet with an indigenous engine if it ever happens. I rather have our brothers and sisters as a partner even if their help is limited mainly to money then let gulf states into the project.

Even if they would stay on Russian side what does Russia have to offer to Azerbaijan? They barely have anything thats able to compete with 4th gen Western jets let alone 5th gen.

The armed forces of Azerbaijan and Turkiye are becoming more and more integrated, not only in terms of organization, technical and training-equiping works, but also in legal terms. This type of relationship is extremely unique even on a world scale. So it is inevitable that this integration will also include deep industrial cooperation. As for KAAN program or MIUS etc., from my point of view, there is no difference between the two countries, we can only be proud that these capabilities have been brought to Azerbaijan. Of course, capacity building is not something that will happen all at once, but seeing the Azerbaijan flag on these aircrafts will definitely be something to be proud of while will create deep concerns for non-friendly countries.

The cooperation process with both countries had been going on for a while. An official cooperation agreement was signed with Azerbaijan at the IDEF23 fair.

However, no official cooperation agreement has been signed with Pakistan yet...

The source is spreading false information.

1. Pakistan has unfortunately not joined the KAAN project.
2. The agreement is about producing components for a fighter jet (likely Hurjet and KAAN)
3. KAAN will most likely fly alone on the 27th of December

Not true,Pakistan did not join the project and no part of the KAAN will be produced in Pakistan or anywhere else but Türkiye(maybe in Azerbaijan).

If Azerbaijan is to be a part of the program, their universities will take part in the program in some way or another, like ours do. Russophile academicians should be kept under watchful eyes. Same with Anglophile ones too, of course.

Not enough. Universities are prime breeding grounds for fifth-column activities and general mankurtery.
BTW Turkiye needs to be vigilant about this as well. Our universities are already on the brink of oblivion as it is.

What level of tech is Turkey willing to share with Azerbaijan and probably Pakistan (as some rumors state)?
Is it only involving parts production or may involve more complicated processes? And how will Turkey guarantee that the parts to be produced abroad is of superior quality and cheaper when Azerbaijan currency is better than the lira?

I doubt Pakistan because Pakistan will be imploding in the future by this rate.

Even my Pakistani friend which I went to school with has officially given up on Pakistan.

We'd have to be idiots of colossal proportion to include Pakistan is any capacity in Kaan, imo even as a customer. They are a step or two away from collapsing and turning into an unofficial satellite to China, I wouldn't want any of our critical tech anywhere near them.
