NohOur nagapasa class are operational.
Hopefully Australia's real intentions is not to familiarize their submarine with Indonesian waters so later they can sneak in secretly.

Center ones look like Brahmos VL. I can count 4 + 4 but as shown in elsewhere the modules come with 8 or 4 in co-centric launchers: However, the depth of the launcher (9580 mm) is well above what AH140 can originally made to support (Strike module length 7700mm) +1880 means another deck is occupied.
Wow kosher product, if its true then I wonder if will we buy it via India.Barak-8/ER
Works with Czech, should work with India as well.Wow kosher product, if its true then I wonder if will we buy it via India.

Surrounding ones could be Sylver (given the size), Mk41 or any other alternative is not that small, assuming the ones neighbouring Brahmos is long variant, i would guess A70 and forward ones likely shallow (A50 - 43). That brings us to; 4x8 Aster-30/15, 3x8 MICA/Aster-15.
Mk41 is 3.4 * 2.6 meters, Sylver is 2.6 * 2.3 meters.
A big question mark for the doubts; Brahmos VLS is given as 2.3 * 2.3 meters, the dimensions of surrounding VLS do not fit to this.

And here is the correction assuming it is a Sylver; Top (Port side) was a trial to fit in vertical orientation, it doesn't fit to VLS bay of AH140, starboard is likely arrangement for horizontal placement. This concludes me, you guys are either getting Barak-8/ER or the naval architect has done a grave mistake by misreading Sylver VLS dimensions.

However, afting wasting my lunch break, the naval architect fellow was cool;
Side by side with Brahmos VL (8 cell), the Barak-8/ER launchers that seem to fit given dimensions and correlating with earlier mentioned 64 (56+8) VLS and the image published by PAL - generated by Babcock. Hence why they refer to these missiles as "MRSAM - LRSAM" a designation that India uses. @Nilgiri @Gessler.

Another image that may suggest the idea Brahmos VLS vs Barak-8 VLS.

Elevating deck is not simple as thought ( that actually means adding another deck) , Just my guess but they would rather leave the VLS standing out from the or extend side plates to shadow it to reduce the RCS.View attachment 60692
So they will levelup the middle deck only for the Brahmos VLS?
One aspect I worry the most is stability.Elevating deck is not simple as thought ( that actually means adding another deck) , Just my guess but they would rather leave the VLS standing out from the or extend side plates to shadow it to reduce the RCS.
And it is the main engine room below the VLS. So, i am doubting if they will ever penetrate through that deck. One aspect I worry the most is stability.
That is a pretty huge weight hanging up there.

However there is Brahmos-NG with a compact size but this source* tells the preliminary design was completed (published on June 30th, 2023. Give it another 3-4 years for VLS certification, redesign of VLS and certification. Since diameter seem to change slightly the VLS re-certification might be omitted. If Navy really wants brahmos, just stay with land based one for now!
FMP specification all this time always describes the use of VLS launch AShM. There are not many candidate.navy want brahmos? i dont think it can fit tho, why not choose another option that fits? even its still in test phased, i think it would be good like that rather than we fit a heavy missile in the middle of the ship even we not pen the deck but make it elevated
well, seems we starting to thinking how it can be work thoFMP specification all this time always describes the use of VLS launch AShM. There are not many candidate.
For me, better they cancel it and jus put ordinary launched Atmaca / Exocet for this first batch. After they master Ah140 design, they can experiment all the want in the next batch.well, seems we starting to thinking how it can be work tho
bcs, there is no other option. atmaca vls is still far away even turks having a plan for it. and JSM still in test phase and it will tricky because it launch from mk41 (cmiiw for the mk41)
