Retaliation is not always apples to apples, 3500 lives were taken by us from the other side shortly after the Russian attack.
Russians killed our soldiers and we killed syrians in return, its like i jail your brother because you stole something, tell me how this is retaliation.

The point is we couldnt even pay back russians and people expect to pay back US?

We got them in Libya at least when Turkish drones sent Wagner group to hell.

More to do with Turkish leaders and politicians letting the Armed forces down by tying their backs.

Nothing to do with the armed forces but the weakness of the government in particular Erdogan.

It was a dumb mistake to even allow wagner group to withdraw to Eastern Libya.

We are killing Russian troops in Ukraine, does that count?

What did the government do when those russians killed our soldiers ? Nothing. They even tried to hide it to the public. Instead of punishing those who did it (russians), they killed Syrians instead lol. Shows how weak this government is. Don't act surprised if they kill more of our soldiers.

The UAV belongs to MIT so MoD is telling the truth. It is Anka, not TB2.

Downing an MIT UAV comes with fewer consequences. Downing a UAV that belongs to the MoD is a direct show of hostility. BTW coalition downed the UAV with a stinger-based system UAV was flying low.

MIT UAVs usually fly low on assassination missions to discriminate civilians from terrorists. You can mistake a guy carrying a pipe for a guy carrying an RPG. This enables MANPADS to engage the UCAV.

WSJ says it was a coalition fighter that downed the UAV.

The Turkish army shelled 16 areas in northern Syria, including 3 oil stations.

It targeted Saeeda oil station in Qamishli countryside in northeastern Syria, as well as oil stations in Gerdahol village in al-Qahtaniya countryside and Alaqosa oil station in northern Chel Agha. Several power plants and distribution stations were also targeted.

One UAV was shot down by the US during the operation. If these operations continue for 30 days and the Ministry of Interior continues its effective fight against drug trafficking, in a few months the PKK terrorists will either start chewing grass or the US will have to announce an additional package of several billion dollars.

I don't think they care about PKK donkeys. They are just cannon fodder, they support the US proxy's imposition of recruitment on the organization in the region it controls. What I think is really troubling here is that we are making moves that will destroy the economic viability of this structure. The PKK was selling the oil it extracted under US protection to the regime. If the PKK's economic revenues are destroyed, every penny spent should come from US taxpayers, with the approval of US senators.

But them shooting Turkish drones is not good news as they will continue on doing it.

Now my question is why we didn't do all of this from the beginning ? I mean bombing their infrastructures and all that stuff ? If we really wanted to neutralize the PKK for good, we should have done this from the beginning, no ?

US cannot know whether the target they shot at is a TSK or a MİT drone. It doesn't change anything.
