A large operation to the Al-Malikiyah district (east of Qamishli) is what we need, other places such as Tel Rifat or Manbij are of lesser importance. Cutting them off from the KRG should be the priority.

As Kartal said in the long term the prospects with the KRG are not positive, i would even say that they could become a larger threat as the YPG/PKK. Therefore you have to tighten the economic and political leash on Barzani, keep a favourable balance between KDP and PUK, but i disagree on the Iran - KDP part.

Statement from Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Öncü Keçeli regarding the population movement in Kirkuk:

We expect the Iraqi authorities not to allow our Turkmen compatriots, who have been subjected to countless massacres and oppression over the last century, to be victimized once again due to these latest developments within the scope of the census.

We need to do special work to ensure the population growth and ethnic preservation of the Turkmens, their population in the region is decreasing day by day...

We need to ensure that those who leave Türkiye lose their turkish pasport. I hope that we don't accept dual citizenship between Türkiye and Iraq.

And in case they have permanent residency and go back using iraqi pasport we can do like EU, if you commit a crime and sentenced then you can lose you residency permit and get exported one way from Türkiye to Iraq.

I call BS on this, it's nearly winter, so we know where they've gone, to the cities and homes to wait until spring/summer.

We need to hunt them down in the cities where they're resting, especially within our own borders, register and locate them and their kin.

When it comes to Zap, the terrorists are not roaming freely.

Sergele pass, the Sergele village, Balinda area are all under control. There are a couple of tunnels where the terrorists are besieged. There is no way of resupply and this winter will be very hard for them.

TSK is currently preparing to take on Gara. Zap is done, Metina is also largely under control and the 5 tunnels there are besieged, there are also activities at Musakka and Sirin mountains in Hakurk.

This winter will be very different to the last winter. Last winter they managed to resupply the tunnels with special teams coming from Gara trough the tunnel close to the Sergele dam. İn result of the change of tactics, the logistics system was targeted and no more logistics can flow from Gara to Zap and Metina. This season a lot of good things were made.

You know that I am usually critical of TSK, but this time I am happy with the results TSK achieved.

The biggest problem this winter would be suicide missions from the tunnels and drone attacks. PKK currently operates FPV drones and there is a rumor of a recent supply. I think this is concerning.

Besides jamming devices all you can do against FPV drone attacks is streching a net over parts of the base (at least parts that need protection), fortifying the base even further and monitoring the tunnel entrances.

Technology doesn't work well when there is a snow storm/fog etc. therefore we need other measurments, to protect the soldiers and effectively repeling potential suicide attacks.

I still don't understand why the head of the snake still gets to appear on TV and issue threats. Kill them and start internal fighting for power and money.
