I remember Indonesia has withdrawn all engineer/personnel from South Korea amid the tensions, have they already returned?KFX/IFX engineers from Indonesia support the continuation of the program by the way. So I dont get for people who dont engage with the program can talk like he know what is inside the program.
And now its the dolphin laugh girl.
Are those live AMRAAM? i don't see any blue stripes
This may answer several question few pages back about F16 and the missile.
I remember Indonesia has withdrawn all engineer/personnel from South Korea amid the tensions, have they already returned?
And from what i heard/known the gap was filled with their own sources since the initial negotiations were failed. (ie. the financial issues)
How would Indonesia fit into project from this point own (in terms of a collaboration) after stalling the project for nearly 2 years? Koreans haven't waited, neither paused but moved onto the project at the planned schedule.
What? There are still time before the 5 prototype being manufactured in Indonesian Aerospace facility.
If i recall correctly Indonesia has withdrawn engineers a bit quicker than expected. and the withdrawal was not accociated with completion of a phase but rather pointing out to coronavirus outbreak (which Korea has handled remarkably well and my friends working in Korea were not affected adversely)The engineers are returning after the design phase has been completed in 2019. CDR meeting took place in 2019 September for your information, so actually we are helping the design until the phase is ended and manufacturing is commenced since beginning of 2020. Indonesian engineers/designers come back to Indonesia in March 2020.

Indonesia appears likely to withdraw from joint fighter jet project
Korea’s ambitious indigenous fighter jet project may end up costing taxpayers much more than they bargained for, as its partner Indonesia toys with pulling out from the program altogether.koreajoongangdaily.joins.com
"In addition to the withheld payments, Indonesia did not send back the 114 technical specialists from its aerospace firm PT Dirgantara Indonesia, who were repatriated in March due to outbreaks of the coronavirus in South Korea. "
I was particularly was speaking about this.
Correct me if i am wrong but engineers' job is not done upon completion of design phase, there is a lot more to do in manufacturing, remakes-corrections-tests etc.
So we can easily assume, Indonesia is holding personnel back until a deal is reached, the way payments are frozen. And regarding to this,i have heard that Korea has already made up the loss in terms of personnel.
Anyway i personally hoped that, the bitter events wouldn't have happened and the cooperation for K/I F-X had gone at full pace.
As i have told since the beginning of the issues, it is not really "usual" and not related the reasons actually told in interviews or statementsI have feeling this is all mostly above our pay grades here.

Ugh now what happened to the IFX program is Indonesia really withdrawing?
Or media speculation?
ok,are you getting some ToT from the project?if yes then how much and are you already getting it or would get later? This is from DAPA Korea about 2 weeks ago. This is current state
DAPA stressed that Indonesia has expressed its intention to continue to participate in the KF-X project.
It also said that the two countries have been conducting negotiations in a mutually beneficial way through multiple working-level negotiations, adding when the negotiations are complete, the DAPA will disclose the results to the nation.

No harm in letting some time play out this year and lets see. I have feeling this is all mostly above our pay grades here.
Agree to all of the above. Korea play a good move by inviting Indonesia President for the launching thus give us the political pressure to respon the IFX issue, good move from them . Will the President attend? Or politely turn down due to "schedule" issue? Perhaps sending someone to accept the invitation? It would be interesting to see our respond as it might reflect our standing to the project. As i have told since the beginning of the issues, it is not really "usual" and not related the reasons actually told in interviews or statements
Still waiting the mainstream media to pick up this.Korea play a good move by inviting Indonesia President for the launching thus give us the political pressure to respon the IFX issue, good move from them
