The key word is double engine..Upgrading used F-16 block 40 from the boneyard/national guard to F-16V standard would be way cheaper.
Bahrain only needed to spend $1.082 bil to upgrade 20 jets from block 40 to V-standard (about $54 mil per jet).

It's not like we, the Warganet, have any power to turn Jendral, Kasau, opung, or 08 decisions?

Totally agree. I love the f15 but its not wise having two heavy fighters at once. Continue the kfx too for future air fleet.Buy F16v, Rafale, T50 and pay for KFX.
We should consider buying the Korean Guided munitions
(Copas dr Maxdef)
South Korea is developing 3 new air-launched munitions that are planned for integration with the KAI FA-50 Fighting Eagle light combat aircraft, which the Philippine Air Force operates.
First is the Korean Laser Guided Bomb (K-LGB), which is similar to the Paveway family of LGBs already in use by the PAF, but is said to be more optimized for use with the FA-50.
Second is the Korean Air-to-Surface Missile (K-ASM), which is said to be medium to long range missile and will be developed with assistance from Turkey's Roketsan. The foundation will be based on Roketsan's Stand-off Missile (SOM) cruise missile, which has a range of 250 kilometers and weighs 650kg optimized for small fighters like the F-16. The missile appears to be an alternative to the 1,400kg Taurus KEPD-350 cruise missile which is too large and too heavy for the FA-50.
Third is the Korean Short Range Air-to-Air Missile (K-SRAAM), which is expected to have similar characteristics as the Diehl Defense IRIS-T missile. Diehl Defense is also expected to provide assistance in developing the new K-SRAAM.
So far, these future developments may be beneficial to the PAF, considering its current fleet of FA-50PH Fighting Eagles are planned for upgrade, and there are also plans to acquire additional improved FA-50s for a second light fighter squadron. These air munitions may also be integrated to the future KF-X fighter, which could also potentially be looked at by the PAF for its future Multirole Fighter requirements for Horizon 3 phase and beyond.
Thanks to one of our Korean community member for pointing out these new developments. First photo shows K-SRAAM, K-LGB and K-ASM,as well as the Sniper targeting pod on what appears to be a cut section of an FA-50 fuselage, as shown at DX Korea 2020. Other photos are for reference only.
You know DISLITBANG TNI is in research for guided munition kits, one SOE have cooperation with LIG NEXT 1.
Building new capital city should be postponed because of increasing risk of future conflict, it would cost more taxpayer money that better be allocated to defense sector. Not to mention it need new military bases, radars, and more connectivity to ensure its safety. Is there any plan to build new AFB to protect the new capital city?
Although I agree with you i am still leaning towards building new capital city.Building new capital city should be postponed because of increasing risk of future conflict, it would cost more taxpayer money that better be allocated to defense sector. The grave mistake is it is more closer inside strike range of you-know-lah.

Yes we definitely need new alutsista and stuff, and Kalimantan would be easier to invade, currently most of our military power is concentrated in Java and also population in Java is huge (huge potential of militia to support the military).
Short term solution is pergeseran kekuatan, long term would be bigger defense budget = more shopping = more alutsista.
