That is a good looking OPV!

Hi and Welcome.
Welcome to the forum.
The front cannon is not replaced with 76 mm, it was already 76mm since the beginning. STM's designs were a portfolio study ,not an actual design for Turkish Navy's OPV project. The front 30mm cannon is replaced with a 76mm cannon. Radar mast reworked to accommodate more advanced radar and comms and electronic systems and I'm guessing the vessel can be fitted with either MRAShM or AShM in war conditions(fitted but not with). IMHO one mistake is the lack of a CIWS system. Gokdeniz CIWS should be there on the top of the Hangar.
Looks like the MC variant has ASW rockets too. It can be further be used with Orka LWT & ASW towed sonar (except than the MC sonar)ULAQ ASW
In a way, this little boat may take weight off Tuzla class and Milgem Corvettes. Much cheaper and faster way to fight subs.Looks like the MC variant has ASW rockets too. It can be further be used with Orka LWT & ASW towed sonar (except than the MC sonar)

Where are they ? Can't see.View attachment 18103
I can just see basket shaped VLS housing at the sides in place of those holes made, like the Italian carrier Cavour has. They have to put more self protection weapons on to these ships. Cavour has two oto Melara super rapids (in front and back), batteries of Aster missiles in the VLS canisters In addition to their various CIWS guns.
Or deployed from Tuzla Class, extending its capabilities, deployed from Milgem (when SOF is not present) and enhancing ASW role. Also more silent than the other two and can easily sneak around. In a way, this little boat may take weight off Tuzla class and Milgem Corvettes. Much cheaper and faster way to fight subs.
Then you have no imagination !Where are they ? Can't see.
The outer shell is made of a different kind of steel than the usual high yield steels, which makes it harder to add on modules on the sides since the steel is sensitive to heat treatment. The outer shell at that particular location should be peeled and the modules shall be added. Won't be hard too but it is just another batch of work which navy won't like.View attachment 18103

I can understand the difficulty of grafting extra panels on to existing ones. But as they say in English: “if there is a will, there is a way!”The outer shell is made of a different kind of steel that the usual high yield steels, which makes it harder to add on modules on the sides since the steel is sensitive to heat treatment. In my opinion add RAM(Turkish one) and leave the TCG Anadolu as is.
It supposed to have 2x40mm guns in the beginning, later they have switched it all to STOP.

Yes, + IFF systems.Am i thinking wrong? Are they going use EW on the TCG Andolu? First mast is for radar for sure, the second like some kind EW mast>?
