Again, Oerlikon 35mm guns were modernized to use the same fire control system to be used with aa missile batteries, but they are not an inseparable part of them. We just put 35mm guns with Hisar batteries under the same control system to make them operate together. They also operate completely separately as they do for us and dozen or so countries around the world. It's semantics at this point, let's agree to disagree mate.
Again no. AİC can only command a single Hisar-A FFS. You can't set up Hisar-A batteries with AİC because commanding a gun and a missile launcher is inherently different. Read the document again. That is why, the Hisar-O+ system which has the same FFS as Hisar-A+, has a separate command control vehicle and a better sensor.

Well sounds like they’ve created an independant little AD layered system that can be deployed quick. Which situations would it be ideal ?

loitering ammo, ucav, in forward positions ?

Situation Name: SHTF in Syria and we need point defence for our bases 😅

Good news from SSB about SAPAN Air Defense Missile

Making a speech at the ceremony, Defense Industry President Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün announced that the SAPAN Air Defense Missile will soon enter the inventory. SAPAN was developed by Roketsan based on the HİSAR-RF Air Defense Missile used in the HİSAR-O+ Air Defense System. The SAPAN Missile, which will be fired from the National Vertical Launch Launcher System (MIDLAS) integrated into the TCG İSTANBUL Frigate (F-515), has also been made suitable for naval combat conditions.

I recall that the SAPAN project was titled as 'Surface to Air Defense Missile Project' over 5-6 years ago. Currently, it covers the Fire Control System developed by Aselsan (that rumored to control both ESSM and Hisar-D) and the Missile System developed by Roketsan. It was originally a PMADS (that covers any Point Defense missile, from one perspective) system and was initially in the form of a RAM missile. The name was later allocated for the ESSM equivalent, which has caused some confusion.

I think this is an adhoc solution from RTX to offer point defense solution against hypersonics. However, chances are with the integration of dual packed PAC-3 MSE with AEGIS L&M will beat them to it.
ESSM itself has evolved into a much more capable missile than anticipated. It is the example when you look up "mission creep" :D

There are several EU naval platforms who just use ESSM's for general air defence purposes.
Bet you'll see this missile used for that purpose as soon as it becomes available.

But as you've said, the US navy will pick PAC-3 with AEGIS due to the sole reason of manufacturing numbers (twice the annual production capacity compared to the SM-6's.).

A crazy idea came to my mind. Siper, Sapan , Hisar whatever it is called. . Instead of putting 4 AD missiles With 4 boosters in a canister, "putting two AD missiles vertically then making it 8 packed." In this way, there will be 8 missiles in one canister.!!!

I know, Now you will say: How could you hot launch two missiles in a row? When you launch the missile onnthe top, the upper missile will burn the bottom one.
Okay right. But how many missiles are being launched when there is one threat and target? AFAIK two missiles are being launched on to one rapid and low flying target. 2ESSM per threat!

In that case, you could send two vertically connected missiles to a single target simultaneously.
The bottom missile ignites first (Like Booster) upper missile waits ,after the launch when they reach a certain altitude, they separate each other and the second missile ignites itself ( this is like separation of Booster but earlier)
If increasing the range of the missile with a booster is not very important, but sending more than one AD missile to the same target is more important, someone might consider this. Yes, I'm thinking of something crazy.

İnstead of a booster connection, connecting with the second AD missile!! Launching them together!

Would not the missile on bottom had much less energy left, so there would be no more an advantage of sending 2 missiles at one target?

If I write what I really think about this idea, I'd probably get banned; so I'll just say this isn't a crazy idea mate, it is simply nonsensical, laws of physics alone make this a terrible idea.

PAC-3 MSE is a great missile. IMHO it is the best endo-atmospheric interceptor. The only weakness of the Patriot system was its radar. It is no surprise the US navy wants PAC-3 missiles on its warships.
