BMCs factory will be ready in 2025 but it won't instantly chunk out 1500hp engines. There will be training, trial production, etc. Similar to the TOGG factory.

IT won't be a better tank in the end. It doesn't matter if we upgrade the electronics again. The doctrine and the tank design itself is outdated.
If they added OMTAS ATGM on the turret of Otokar Tulpar or FNSS Kaplan 30ton IFV, the 30 ton vehicle with 30mm auto cannon and 2 OMTAS would be safer, more lethal and more efficient than current modernized M60s.
Until ALTAY have been mass produced, such IFV would help a lot.
They should have also added ATGMs on modernized m113IFVs with unmanned turret, but they didn't... Although it wouldn't be a complicated and expensive solution.

Every technology gets outdated in a few short years, you need to settle for one at some point to make it go live.

I think a drone carrier vehicle deploying drones that can ferry a single ammunition to a target can replace tanks. These drones are eVTOL drones that can fly like 20 minutes and ferry explosives to the door of the target. Most suitable for urban warfare.

Yeah they definitely need some ATGM with the IFV. There was an animation for CV-90 where they were targeting the tanks sensors first with airburst ammunition to eliminate the APS and then firing the ATGM to eliminate the tank itself. Not a bad concept if you are able to ambush the tank.

Can not talk about Tulpar but they claimed to increased the localization percentage on the Amra II. So, if it would be a requirement for the Tracked-IFV tender they would have also done the same with Tulpar.

The ARMA II, whose localization rate has been increased, plays an important role in reducing Turkey's foreign dependence in land systems. ARMA II features a suspension system and transfer case designed and produced by Otokar with its own resources, while national design and locally produced subsystems, including the cooling package, are preferred.
ARMA II is offered to users with two different engine options, one of which is indigenous.

ASELSAN's Yener GPR Entered the Inventory with OTOKAR ARMA
ASELSAN's GPR and Otokar's ARMA 8x8 vehicle entered the inventory for the first time in Turkiye with YENER Modern Mine Detection System project.
Anadolu News Agency published a comprehensive news article about the project that ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol announced on his account on November 23.
ASELSAN developed the Ground Penetration Radar (GPR) to detect and identify mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) for the YENER Project. YENER, which can work when the connected platform is moving or stationary, can cooperate with the GERGEDAN electronic jamming and suppression system. The system can be integrated into armoured vehicles or unmanned ground vehicles.

AFaik it's just 1 system. Anda afaik there was one Arma of Gendarmerie maybe for the test purpose.
Arma is using Caterpillar C9 engine according to sources. On the other hand Arma II is using Ford-Otoson Ecotorq engine.

Interesting briefing at #IAV24 about how German thinking is influencing the next generation main battle tank for the MGCS project.
Potential features:
Weight reduction to 50 tonnes - more compact design
Mobility, mobility, mobility - high power to weight ratio
System of systems approach - common platform with different types including gun tank, missile launcher, and uncrewed air defence wingman
Likely to have a larger gun - 130 mm / 140 mm and capacity to fire NLOS ATGMs
Uncrewed turret Three-person crew located in the hull
Integral APS / SHORAD capability
Hybrid electric drive with 1,800 hp
Passive and Reactive protection
Front-mounted engine
Conceptual illustration shows possible layout. Interesting that MGCS and Abrams X follow T-14 configuration.
One thing seems certain: crewed turrets are finished.

Armored Combat Vehicles (ACV), modernized under the main contractor of ASELSAN, serve with high situational awareness, firepower and survivability capabilities.

Welp, here it is. Looks to me like it's the 120mm gun, can't be certain tho. If it is, this would be the first Turkish IFV with a 120mm gun.

Turkish Marines are probably drooling right now.

I wonder can Otokar also be able to integrate this turret to Arma 2 as well. It looks beefy enough.(Arma 2)

I absolutely do not think army or navy would get an AFV with a foreign turret after all this. This is either for an ongoing tender or it will be marketed in the future.

It does look pretty awesome tho.

Oh look.... The percentage of made in Türkiye? 3-4 % is my guess and I am sure it's quite cheap (not!)
And before the Otokar chill come wining, for export, quite good vehicle but for TSK, never ever.... Which imho is good thing
