this new pointing 2022, actually it is end of 2022 begining of 2023 so almost two years passed. M60 TIYK project going very well but no sign about Leopard 2 TIYK, Germany may be obstructing some issues ?

Yeah technically 2022 but since the contract with Aselsan was signed in May 2023, we can say that it started last year. Because most of the parts will be from Aselsan.

True as far as I understand, the modernization project is progressing step by step, first Roketsan upgraded armours accourding to this news in 2022 https://www.savunmasanayist.com/tiyk-leo-2a4-leopard-2a4-modernizasyonu/
But later on the project was brought together under BMC management, now Aselsan is integrating its own electronic systems under BMC management.

According to this post, those 40 tanks are not included in the TIYK for 81 tanks.
As part of the urgent need for operations, 40 Leopard 2A4s have been upgraded to the Leopard2A4T1 level with the armor packages produced by Roketsan. With the TİYK-LEO 2A4, the remaining tanks will be subjected to both electronic and ballistic modernization. NG is getting real…

We can't if you narrow the specs down to a particular supplier. There are alternative brands available in the market, specially for IFV / APC class. I see the logic of getting domestic engine for a project aiming at thousand units, but hey it is our soldiers heading to frontlines in improved tin-cans.
If you are not going to dare to take 12.7 AP shots at the vehicle while yourself inside, simply don't defend it. This is my motto.

Are those brands from different countries? Didn't we try this with Altay and only SK agreed much later? I am just asking because i am curious and i don't want to see old junk in the inventory.
