Oh, before I forget it. We are fighting our interests. It has nothing to do, with killing people.
God save us, if Kemalists ever return. They will sell us out to the Wests.

We are not fighting because we love it, only. Just read the history of Turks tribals. We have an affinity to fight. But the most important think is, if we do not fight. We will lose. And we will lose much.
Today, the soldiers are the engineers and the scientists, not the infantry. If you don't have a good educational system, a good economy then you already lost. You just don't know it, yet.

The war in 1974 was caused by the greeks trying to annex the entire island and wipe out the Turkish people. Had they achieved that you would have even bigger problems today.

In syria and iraq the americans, russians and others are desperate to create a kurdistan and expand it into Turkey. If they succeed the entire region will drown in bloodshed. Can you imagine what would happen to the Kurds who live in Turkey outside of the south east? Do you think the Turkish people are going to watch the kurds with their american and russian backers invade south east Turkey and they will be left alone? The Kurds will be seen as open traitors and they will be dragged into the streets of istanbul, ankara etc. Bloodshed and war will spread across the entire state.

In the east med and agean coalitions are forming against us to restrict our rights and soverignty. If that happens tomorrow bigger dangers will come to the Turkish heartland.

We didnt want these fights but they are coming at us with violent intentions. If you dont fight the bloodshed will be of magnitudes higher, the suffering far worse. Fighting is the lessor evil of the two. Dont fight and millions will die, fight and a few thousand will die.

Dont confuse armenian madness with wanting to take land and expand her shitty little state, with Turks fighting to protect what she already has.

Sir, in which area will drill for natural gas? The answer is area 10 which isnt included in either Turkey's or Turkish Cyprus' EEZ territory

The deal between Cyprus and Qatar Energy/Exxon Mobil is clear: Blocks 5 and 10.
Block 10 was made in early 2019.

Greece and the US will patrol together in the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas

The historic cooperation agreement between the Greek Coast Guard and the US Coast Guard was signed in Athens. The ceremony, attended by Greek Maritime Minister Giannis Plakiotakis and US Ambassador to Athens Geoffrey Pyatt, was held at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs.

Making an assessment following the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Commander of the Greek Coast Guard, Rear Admiral Theodoros Kliaris and the US Admiral Stein Poulin, Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt said, “With the signing of today's Memorandum of Understanding, we welcome another real turning point in the relations between the US and the Greek Coast Guard. " said.

'GREECE IS ONE OF OUR STRONGEST ALLIES'

Pyatt took this opportunity to thank Rear Admiral Poulin for his special trip to Greece, and all partners in the US Coast Guard who pledged to deepen and strengthen the defense relationship with Greece. According to the spokesperson, Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt made the assessment that “Greece is in many ways one of our strongest allies in the whole of Europe, especially in the maritime sector.”

'WE WILL MOVE TOGETHER IN EVERY AREA IN THE SEA'

Ambassador Pyatt said:
-Today's Memorandum of Understanding will help our countries' Coast Guard further accelerate the pace of engagement, ship visits and training among our forces. This agreement is fully aligned with the US-Greece Strategic Dialogue outlined in maritime safety, operations, information exchange, fisheries inspections, environmental protection and education.

- Cooperation between the two countries is helping to strengthen the credibility and capabilities of our alliance in a region that has not always been friendly and where Greece is now perceived by all as an important element of stability, a reliable NATO ally. Greece is a country that is part of the solution to build a stable, democratic region of the kind our citizens want and deserve.

Another sign to speed up the domestication of the defense industry
The West cant be trusted
The US wanna keep the status quo and ensure that Greece is equal to Turkey which will just make the Greeks even more arrogant

Good, I hope USCG give substantial assistance as regards the illegal immigration flows based on the Turkish coast.

In the hybrid war that Turkey has declared in Greece, through the instrumentalization of illegal immigration, every possible help and alliance is required.

But your buddies are bombing in the north of Syria, thats why these people are going to EU. Stop bombing ther country, look to your American buddies. They bombed Afghanistan almost 20 years, destroyed and run away from ther crimes. Why don't you complain to americans :D .
