Trump's special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, states that his "team is working on a peace agreement between Morocco and Algeria right now. There will be a peace agreement, in my opinion, within 60 days."
Algeria, with its trickery and traitorous acts, has not been able to change anything in the 50-year-long conflict in the Moroccan Sahara. The file of Western Sahara has entered the final stages, and Algeria has to accept the fait accompli .

The Security Council adopts, with 11 votes in favor, 3 abstentions, and 0 votes against, the resolution considering the Moroccan autonomy plan as the most feasible basis for resolving this artificial conflict.
The vote in favor of the resolution with 11 votes: the United States of America, Denmark, Somalia, France, and the United Kingdom, Panama, Greece, Slovenia, Sierra Leone, Guyana, South Korea.
Abstention by three countries from voting, which are: China, Russia, Pakistan.
Algeria did not participate in the vote.
