In practice, however, hunters tend to be more agile and maneuverable, made of non-magnetic steel, with tighter operational noise levels and special materials, designed to enter mined areas and keep them clean. While countermeasure vessels do the same but are made larger, less agile, classic materials and less complexity, more equipment and often keeps a distance to mined areas and use auxiliaries to reach.

The first domestic Yaw Damping System, designed and produced by STM with national resources in Turkey, received its product certificate from Türk Loydu, a certification body that is a member of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS).



Roll Damping System of surface warships; It ensures that the platforms continue their combat missions safely under adverse environmental conditions by absorbing the forces they are exposed to due to external factors such as wind, waves, currents and storms.
