Yes. Because asymetrical threat posed by small drones is a real thing. I expect an integrated drone detection and jamming network of sorts to be built in a decade or so. This network will first be installed over government facilities and later over all urban areas. Because those barbarians will, at some point, fly a drone rigged with explosives and shrapnel into a rush hour crowd at a bus stop or something.Will this help against the terrorist scum?

I would use them with SUNGUR/STINGER/İgla manpads or land platforms since they are compact and light.So Turkiye replaced all f16 radars even in last 30 batch that delivered around 2010 if i am correct than what all those 240 radars go ? Will they be destreoyed and all of those relatively modern radars go to bins ?
My idea was great if they can mount them on cheap drones and trainer aircrafts

That might be true on a single IRST. But I was talking about cueing BOTH KARAT and TOYGUN on target and fusing their data to generate the track. My mind went to cell tower triangulation, which requires 3 sources with a certain distance between them, that's my bad, but yes 2 points on a single device should suffice, depending on distance and resolution of sensors. Need to calculate the angle between vectors from two sensors to target, but at long range it may be that on both cameras target is only 1 pixel in same position so you can't calculate that differenceThat is triangulation
