Russian FPV drones continue to use 'fiber-optic cables'

A Bushmaster armored vehicle supplied by Australia to Ukraine was hit by a 'fiber-optic cable' controlled FPV drone in the Kursk region.

FPV drones are being equipped with fiber-optic cables to counter Ukraine's electronic warfare / jamming systems.

That's not a lot of damage to the foxhole itself and that's a terrible human analogue.

Because the target were the persons inside that "foxhole". You can clearly see the fragmentation damage on those mannequins.
That thing is basically just a flying hand grenade.
Or do you have a video, where a kamikaze fpv drone (anti-personnel) does your expected damage?

These are very cute, but all these tests are conducted against targets that are either stationary or moving at around 10 km/h, while we see drones reaching speeds of 325 km/h in the Ukraine War. It’s only a matter of time before human interaction with drones is limited to target confirmation. AI will soon surpass human reflexes in battlefield.

As I said, a mannequin is a terrible human stand in, it doesn't realistically reflect the damage a human might have suffered in that situation. If you can't properly damage the structure enemy is hiding behind, your shrapnel is not going to harm the enemy, especially since they are not going to stand around like a mannequin.

I do actually, a metric fuck ton of, but unfortunately reddit is broke at this moment. But you can see them on r/combatfootage if you want.

Also, you getting defensive every time someone criticizes something you share or disagrees with your view is really getting old mate. People can have different opinions, get over it.

I am only defending my opinion with arguments. If you get offendend without getting insulted, well that is your problem then. As you said some time ago, this is a free forum.

KARGU with RF and Anti-Tank Warheads will be a scourge on warships

We have been working on Armour Penetrator KARGU for some time. We are working with MKE A.Ş. on ammunition. Design and development work has been completed there. Finally, the blasting tests are about to be completed. It will be ready to enter the inventory very soon. The development of KARGU, also with RF Seeker Head, was initiated with STM's own resources.

If we look at it this way, you have more than one KARGU. You have the possibility to attack with them from different directions, at different speeds, at different heights. You have the chance to use them as a swarm. They all have armour-piercing ammunition on them. Maybe a KARGU-sized drone may not have much effect on the ship. But think about the radar system of this ship... There is a lot of potential for the ship to be blinded when you automatically detect the radar system and attack it from different directions with KARGU carrying armour-piercing ammunition.

Is this the Anti-Tank version of KARGU?

I am really not sure. In their catalogue, a picture of this was under the RF seeker version of Kargu but that looks so much like a proper warhead that it confused me.

You can check it out on page 16:

On the next page, they depict a tank as a possible target. So maybe this is RF and Anti-Tank in one System.

Could be, they might also don't want to make an RF seeker kamikaze drone as that might make it too expensive, so putting an RPG on it might solve two problems at once.

I quite like the idea btw, not just for anti-armour but it could also work against infantry with even something like the M72 anti-personnel warhead we use, Wasp.
