Güleryüz: Armor-Piercing Warhead Complete, Next is RF Seeker Head

STM General Manager Özgür Güleryüz stated that they are continuously developing KARGU according to the dynamics of the battlefield, adding:

"For some time, we have been working on different payload versions of KARGU. Until now, KARGU has effectively operated in the field with an anti-personnel munitions warhead. Moving forward, it will also affect mobile and stationary ground targets, resilient structures, and armored ground vehicles with an armor-piercing warhead. The personnel can quickly switch from the anti-personnel munitions warhead to the armor-piercing one based on the real-time situation in the field. We have developed a concept that will empower our Mehmetçik, who actively use KARGU in the field. This will also be highly effective in terms of export. Meanwhile, we have nearly completed the integration of the RF (Radio Frequency) Seeker Head, bearing the signature of STM engineers. With the RF Seeker Head, KARGU will be able to detect and destroy enemy radar and electronic warfare systems. We will thus provide our country with a national system that can effectively engage enemy elements at a very reasonable cost."

I think they also need a thermobaric warhead, I suspect that could be even more effective than claymore against personnel that might have cover or moving.

Okay, STM has updated their Kargu webpage and they give the weight of the warhead as less than 1 kg.

Which means that (given that they worked with MKE for Kargu's claymore warhead and 81 mm mortar for their drop drone) they are using M72-LAW (HAR-66 for us) warhead in this. That's 300 mm penetration, so good aim will be crucial.

It also means, I'm guessing, they should be able to use Wasp (anti-personnel) warhead with this, which might be more effective than claymore and make @Kartal1 happy 😁

10 kg? That's more than a Hellfire missile, and possibly Umtas as well. If that is true that is insane amount of explosive power for a small drone.

Does anybody know who they are? I've never heard of them before. This is their website:

I don't know who they are, but if the specs of the drone are true and the drone is cheap then it is a banger. Big payload capacity, AI, easy to manufacture. A perfect solution for our proxies.
