A business model which relied on foreigner parts.
If TEI/TAI wasn't pursuing for a local engine, TAI/Aselsan not pursuing for E/O, Bayraktar now would be without an engine and E/O, and will be seeking new foreign partners to provide those parts.

That is why i don't expect a MIUS or HALE, before they complete an actual MALE class, and TIHA with full power. Later we can talk about their dreams to make MIUS.
Taking TB2 as reference for MIUS, is taking Kirpi as a reference for Altay, we have seen how the latter ended up.
Have you forgotten the Akinci? Isn't that an important intermediary phase between the TB2 to the MIUS?

Akıncı is not an intermediate step between those two, in aviation terms Akıncı is a large TB2 with similar avionics, flight profile yet more complex with additional sensors and payload.
That is what i am telling, at least we should expect MIUS after they have fully flown Akıncı with Satcom and with full payload they promised (<1 ton).

We know which company has more and actually the only experience on jet aircraft (production, structural engineering, avionics, integration, engine) in engineering basis.
If Baykar is going to work with Ukrainian companies except of the engine, then i am totally against it.

2020 is about to end and we haven't seen GÖKSUNGUR yet. T.Kotil said in January 2020 that the first flight will be made in a year. Likewise, KARGI has not yet shown itself. The design of both is a matter of curiosity and what kind of system it is.

With a bit of modification it should be able to carry 2x UMTAS within its payload limit.
Yes it can but there are much better experimental designs that can perform far better.

The world is moving forward with new helicopter designs. These new designs improves speed and agility of helicopter platforms. US Army programs FARA and FLARA defines these systems. They are faster and more agile and all sport 3000hp engines. While we can go for such large platforms with the TS1500 and TS3000 series engines we can also use smaller engines for smaller unmanned platforms that are far easier to develop. The smaller engines like a turboshaft to be developed from TJ90 which can produce like 100 SHP of power can be used in single or twin configurations to power a fast and agile but also easy to make unmanned VTOL helicopters that will have a good punch. Piston engines can also be used but turbines are better for fast helicopters.

We are being slow in developing such systems although they are not expensive. Too bad.

The most important thing in an aircraft design, manned or unmanned, is that it's aerodynamically stable.
Not if you are building a modern super agile jet fighter. The more aerodynamically unstable an aircraft is the more highly maneuverable it is. So you introduce unstable elements to your design parameters to make it agile. Then try to correct the instability with computers. That is why you need flight control computers that can respond in milliseconds to do course corrections to keep the aircraft in flight, as human motor-response time cannot work that quickly.

But Temel Kotil stated to C4 Defence in April 22 (2020) that the work for the jet-powered UAV is ongoing but did not give any further details.

I follow official sources in the Defense sector. Tusaş CEO is a resource for me, not twitter accounts.

Kotil said in an interview with C4 Defense that GÖKSUNGUR will fly within a year. Because of its importance, I think that no visual and information will be shared until the flight. I think they will introduce them to the beginning of 2021 with a big surprise. TAI test pilot Murat ÖZPALA also gave a good message for GÖKSUNGUR in linkedIN.

Swinging between states of a high secrecy, high value plane and there is no such thing this anticipated Göksungur will break many hearts.

funny part, both of them are jet powered, and most probably it will use turbojet engine to make that speed..
another advantage of turbojet, as it doesnt have fans, less area for air intake, its more stealth to radars..

It will probably be turbofan. Turbojet engines are already being developed for single-use engines due to material engineering. The technology of superalloys used in them is not suitable for repeated use. Single crystal turbines are used in turboshaft and turbofan engines. Thus, the motor can be used repeatedly.

Note: Don't get confused. I mean the Turbofan is not used.
