IMO - definitely, certainly, undeniably there is a kickback involved. same goes for Indonesia's Leo's.the same price for leopard 2A7 & 7 Bayraktar TB2, is that the price for independence or is there a kickback?

What are you talking about?same goes for Indonesia's Leo's.
E.g. Singapore's Leo's (highly upgraded and enhanced former BW models) cost less then $6 million a piece.
AFAIK Indonesia did not. - you are citing figures of an initial deal to purchase 2nd hand Leo2A4's and Marder 1A3's in 2012 after abandoning the Netherlands deal. What are you talking about?
We just pay US$ 280 million for those 103 leopards (2RI and A4+ configuration) and 50 marder !!!

thanks 4 your information sirIMO - definitely, certainly, undeniably there is a kickback involved. same goes for Indonesia's Leo's.
E.g. Singapore's Leo's (highly upgraded and enhanced former BW models) cost less then $6 million a piece. (estimates for Singapore's own enhancement efforts account to around 0.5 -1,5 million a piece, the Leo 2SG). And they are going to or already acquired some Leo 2A7's.
BTW a Leo2A7 cost's around $20-22 million.
As for a Bayraktar TB2 I am not sure, but it is around $5 million - excluding weapons and guidance control units.
As long as it's useful informationthanks 4 your information sir
With this level of attention and maintenance efforts, we shouldn't expect less when the Army start receiving Harimau tanks.
Looking at presentation slide, 8th cavalry is far below though .With this level of attention and maintenance efforts, we shouldn't expect less when the Army start receiving Harimau tanks.
...If they'll be actually acquired in hundreds instead of just 18, that is...
Sometimes even if govt order more of it there are some limitations on the capacity & technological capability from the BUMN it self. Take a look at the small callibre munition, even with large order the company hasnt been able to finance the project internally or raising the fund from third party. Its a complicated matters as you might already know, ranging from the contract, production capacity, financial state of the company and the list continue. There are things that put a smile on my self, seeing how the govt raise the quantity ordered, the plan to inject penyertaan modal negara to increase productivity and modernize the machinery and some other small matters. At the very least we already seen an effort to fix the benang kusut....If they'll be actually acquired in hundreds instead of just 18, that is...
True that. But still, it's better to keep our expectations grounded since we all know too well how it's often turned out in the end. Well, at least that's how it is for me.Sometimes even if govt order more of it there are some limitations on the capacity & technological capability from the BUMN it self. How about my all-time favorite? Rhodesian Camouflage (1970 – 1980) Promise you couldn't detect those fellows in jungle, grassland or mountainous, terrain.someone's need to make a compilation where foreign armed forces camo/uniform blends better with our surrounding vegetation during their visit.
Kodam XII Tanjung Pura on 80's use the same camou ... before that Kodam V Jaya use almost the same pattern ...How about my all-time favorite? Rhodesian Camouflage (1970 – 1980) Promise you couldn't detect those fellows in jungle, grassland or mountainous, terrain.
Especially the SAS and Selous Scouts versions。Check out the guys on the left - how the cammo blends into the background.
Yes - a bit similar, but the Rhodesian forces use a lighter brown, no sand brown and especially the brush strokes are in green. Too much brown gives you away in the jungle and bush/grassland.Kodam XII Tanjung Pura on 80's use the same camou ... before that Kodam V Jaya use almost the same pattern ...
