A lot of countries which one of them is more advanced than us wants to buy PD-170 engine.A short summary of the most important points would be nice though.
PD-170 engine passed EASA test but not officially. They made the tests themselves.
TEI sell critical engine parts to major manufacturers. And half of the planes use TEI made parts in the engine.
Baykar Akıncı UAV will use PD-222 engine for the C model.
General Electric is share holder of TEI by 46% but they dont mean any threat to national projects.
General Electric is major costumer of TEI.
TEI has 5 billion $ awaiting sales.
TEI will manuacture GE-F110 engine in Turkey for TF-X.
And in the beginning, he talked about jet engines generally and he give basic information. He also said that we dont have any foreign dependency on TS-1400 TurboShaft engine.
For me biggest suprise is that we are going to produce F110 engine again. Which means later production line can be used for National MMU engine.
