Not necessarily for SİPER, those datalink antennas are used for naval air defence missiles as a whole. SİPER 1D, HİSAR-D, G/M-1, and GÖKSUR all use this antenna. Besides, those ships still lack adequate searching radar for SİPER, maybe if they get CENK 300-N.

What is the difference with other 150-class ships that were produced by 2013? They seem to be the same class.

Also, what is the condition of the older 140-class ships from 1990? Are they modernized, or will these new LCTs replace them?

and the new 3100 tonnes CG-3100 from STM.

I suppose this was recommended to Malaysian coast guard as the mothership, but somehow someone wanted to make Seft and Desan richer and asked/suggested for designing a hull from scratch.

The same hull can be used in smaller form, shorter like Ada class instead of being as long as Istanbul Class is. Got a hangar, more facilities.

I expected this one (but shorter, about 100 meters like Ada class) to be selected for CG programmes so that when CG needs a bigger platform in future they may operate bigger versions too.

The program was initially 600 tonnes CG cutter and lead into a design surpassing 1200 tonnes already. Knowing the tendencies and the idea of adding spare engines to be tested on board ( likely a CODOD since the main engines shall sail the ship at requirement points) the tonnage will safely exceed 1400 tonnes in final design.

Just got a skinny Ada class at 1800 tonnes, and scale from there on as CG may need in future is the smartest move. Why CG attempts to differ from TN?

More than likely different pie, different contractors, different hands.
Which is why Greek Navy can come sailing into our territorial waters. TCG deviates too far from strict doctrine TN follows.

The World's Most Comprehensive MEKO Class Frigate Modernization Project

ASM placing. So it won't have 4x4 but 3x4. Maybe one more set could be installed just fore of the starboard one as the port one at the fore seems installed a bit more to the side?

Very misleading caption. Anyone would think that the whole project is completed. Only the Orucreis ship’s modernisation is completed. There are 3 more ships in the program that need to be upgraded.

Exactly 7 years ago the contract was signed with a view to complete the program of modernisation in 2024. Clearly it is delayed and there are no signs of the other 3 ships being upgraded yet. We are still dwelling on the news of “what a great job Aselsan and Co has done “ ; Albeit it is a great feat of engineering by Aselsan and Co for which they need to be commended, one ship alone is not enough to boast about.
