You think those companies have enough engineers for that? Do you know how hard it is to develope an state-of-the-art aviation engine from scratch? Besides they all concentrated on TF-35000. And since that project shows its fruits, they can concentrate on other projects now.
Türkiye needs way more engineers, physicists, mathematicians etc.

You gonna know better then Aksit now? He was the one who pushed for the project to get started 5-7 years ago already and was shut down by an incompenten government. Think I'm gonna go with the guy who is responsible for this country even having any engines to speak but thanks though.

You know better than everyone and you are always right. Love you

Well, if prof. Aksit said it so many years ago and it wasn't done. It's either corruption at government level or because of corruption.

I would have said because of not enough engineers, but if the economy is crap. Then people need to watch out for themselves.

I? No. I just ask normal question everyone would who isn't fanboying about a incompetent government. Aksit knows better though and he was the one pushing for the project, guess he knows better than you though if he can take on such a project.

See, this is your problem. You put politics in most in your posts, not just normal questions.
If you have limited engineers by your hand, you have to prioritize projects and try to use those engineers in the most optimal way possible.
It could be true that Mr. Aksit pushed for TS-3000 few years ago (i don't know), but at the end he is a CEO too.
Do you know which engine had bigger priority at that time? Do you know which engine had more export potential or was more needed?
And at last we had an agreement with USA about T700 engines and T70 Helicopter production, so imo that TS-3000 engine wasn't needed much.

Bro what is that thinking.
CEO pushes for a project --> officials prioritize other project --> it must be corruption. Like maybe stop thinking just in one layer and try not to put politics in your thoughts.
Please read my post above.

It was a sub-system (should be APU if I'm not wrong) that delayed P0's first flight by 3 months. Dozens of sub-contractors are trying hard to catch timelines. Probably something like that again.

Internal projects of ministry of defense
Don't we already have companies involved in those projects ?

I think someone pointed out that all these mini R&D were excuses to get their fingers on money and yandas seems a favorite.

We simply don't know. But they don't look like simple money grabs either as some are supported by test footage.

You still risk the remaining engine flamig out, especially when you have not made the engine, so why risk an unlucky crash.
Didn't we argue 2 weeks ago how safety is not that paramount re ejection seats if we can get more aircraft in the air cheaper?

This is a critical first flight not just any flight. You don't want an unlucky event to mar the national fightermaking endeavor.

Mahmut Akşit said in IDEF2025 that TF-6000 turbofan tests are progressing. Tests reached 3700 lbf so far and expanding envelope as planned. Considering TS-1400 reached 1800 lbf emergency thrust. I believe they will surpass 6000 lbf. I just wish these things didn't take soooooooo much time. We may end up in a war at any moment to stop David corridor, division of Syria(same plan they had even before they destroyed Ottomans using WW1) and a PKK state and here these people are taking their sweet time even for a drone engine like TF-6000 as if nothing is happening.
